Accessibility Solutions offers advanced solutions to improve home safety and accessibility and to promote independence through the use of specialized adaptive equipment, aids for daily living and technology.
Accessibility Solutions first opened its doors in Tallahassee, Florida in April, 1997, and serves North Florida and South Georgia. With decades of experience in home renovation and home medical equipment, Accessibility Solutions immediately set its focus on applying universal design principals to improve people’s lives, allowing individuals to enjoy their home safely and comfortably with the greatest degree of independence possible. Certified aging in place specialists (CAPS) with experience, training and education in universal design, specialized adaptive equipment and all facets of home renovations, Accessibility Solutions is uniquely qualified to tailor the best solutions for any situation. Our focus on quality, professionalism and integrity combined with our unique experience and knowledge allow for personalized solutions with exceptional results.

John Pettit, Owner
John is a Marine Corps veteran and graduate of Norwich University. He developed the idea for Accessibility Solutions while working for a medical home equipment company in Tallahassee. His years of previous experience in remodeling allowed him to see solutions for clients who were struggling to safely enjoy their home as a result of their age, disability or condition, “so I quit my job and started Accessibility Solutions.” Shortly thereafter he added Lifetime Renovations as a division of Accessibility Solutions.
Tiesha Sims, Office Manager
Tiesha has been in the construction business for more than 20 years and has been an Office Manager for more than 10. She is passionate about the work she does and enjoys helping customers improve their lives in a lasting way.
